↪ OC Transpo hired managers who did not meet the requirements of the job, says the City’s auditor general

↪ Rideau-Jock ward councillor David Brown wants a rule that gives OC Transpo exclusivity over transit in Ottawa overturned. He thinks that bus services from municipalities bordering Ottawa should be able to service rural areas.

↪ OC Transpo is investigating replacing cloth seats on buses with hard plastic ones.

🎨 The City wants your opinon on the Nepean Creative Arts Centre refresh. The centre has been a ‘home for artists, performers, instructors and community members’ since 1990 but now the City is looking for some direction. 🗑️ Over in Moody’s Bay, the City has outlined four options about sledding in the park. Tobogganing has been banned since 2021 after a young girl died in an accident.

The four options are:

• 15-metre ‘thrill hill’  ($3.5 million)
• 5.7-metre ‘bunny hill’ ($1.75 million)
• Do both ($4.25 million)
• Do nothing at all
