The article notes our city's proximity to a huge number of local farms (more than Montréal, Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver combined) as well as events like Winterlude and the Canadian Culinary Championships, and cool neighbourhoods, all contributing to Ottawa’s food scene.

π If you have missed Olive Garden, it will reopen an Ottawa location in Westboro next summer. The Vaughan company that owns Swiss Chalet, Montana’s, East Side Marios, New York Fries, Harvey’s, and the Burger’s Priest picked up Olive Garden last year.
