Commentary
▪️ “Fun to both watch AND play sadly wasn’t an option :-)”
▪️ “I am completely indifferent towards curling. Great if you enjoy it.”
▪️ “It's an Olympic year so come on out and try curling, local clubs usually have a free ‘try curling’ event to recruit new players for their learn to curl program. I might be biased, but the Navy curling club by Dow’s lake is the place to be.”

BUT, ONE MORE THING ...
CBC Radio One’s Q with Tom Power show had what turned out to be a terrific interview with Paul Anka yesterday. Anka talks a lot about growing up in Ottawa, how his days being a cub reporter for the Ottawa Citizen taught him writing, and of how, when he worked at a grocery store at age 15, he chased down purchasers of Campbell’s Soup at their homes so he could take the used can labels during the soup maker's win-a-trip-to-New-York contest. It turned out to be the very trip to New York that started his career.
