🍽️ In the Ottawa Citizen, Peter Hum visited Siamese-twin restos Town and Citizen to see how they are faring in ‘restaurant middle age’. He enjoyed both but said Town’s ‘neo-soul soundtrack for dinner contributed to the sophisticated vibe’.

🍳 At Capital Eats, Ralf Joneikies went for the buffet brunch at the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino resto, Council Oak. He says he’ll be back –and notes there will be a $75 Easter brunch coming up.

🆓 This weekend marks the 41st Annual Vanier Sugar Festival at Vanier Museopark and Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre. If you think it's about maple syrup you're only partially right. You'll find activities for the whole family, a book sale, community exhibitors, an Indigenous artifacts and experiences station, live music, lumberjack skills competitions, and yes, plenty of food and drink that celebrates the sweet stuff.
